Outside My Window… It’s nearly 6:00 pm and there is still plenty of light outside. It’s making me think of spring with much anticipation.
I am thinking… About how I set the ‘tone’ of our household.
I am thankful for… A healthy newborn baby girl and a healthy recovery from labor and delivery.
From the kitchen… Beef Stronganoff generously prepared by a friend from church, salad, and a ‘take and bake’ french baguette.
I am wearing… A light blue nursing dress with a light pink cardigan over it, brown loafers. No socks or tights.
I am creating… Milk – lots and lots of Milk (ooompapa oooompapa) ~I’m sure only my darling husband will get that…
I am reading… The Mission of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson. I’m finding it to be a bit to ‘protestant’ for my comfort though.
I am hoping… That I continue to heal and recover easily.
I am hearing… Mark and Molly playing with a barrel of monkeys and squeaky newborn noises.
One of my favorite things… Silky, smooth, sweet baby hair.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… All of my plans for this week contingent on my engery levels and stamina. I know how much Greta and I need to rest.
Here is picture thought I am sharing… 8 pounds 2 ounces!
