Father,
We look to Your loving guidance and order
as the pattern of all family life.
By following the example of the holy family
of your Son in mutual love and respect,
may we come to the joy of our home in heaven.

ROFL!!! That put the biggest smile on my face, Lisa! 🙂
You’re kidding! : )
Yes, that does mean you have a LARGE family! We haven’t gotten that question yet from any of our Amish friends, but then again, our family is half the size of yours, at least for now. Too funny!
I visited an Amish settlement today to pick up some food items we needed.
The Amish mama’s eyes lit up when she saw Mariam…and got even bigger when I told her this baby was my 8th! 🙂 (She had four little ones herself.)
I was thinking on the way home…you know you have a large family when you have more children than the Amish! 🙂
LOL!!! That’s funny.
Hilarious!

This is great! I once had an Amish couple STARE at me as the 5 children jumped out of our 15 passenger van. I love those moments.
God bless,
Kristen
What a compliment! 🙂
I say, you know you have a lot of children when you bring them somewhere, and someone comments on your large family, and asks how many you have….and you look around, sort of counting, and ask: “Do you mean with me now, or at home too?”
