Summorum Pontificum, An Easy Read Explanation

Posted on

This was a very easy read for this simple Catholic woman.  Especially how this document responds to three groups of people.  (FWIW,  I am not a old fogey or a follower of the SSPX.  I am a young(er) convert,  who’s love for the old traditions and  older forms is growing deeper each passing day.)    And the myths dispelled are spot on too.   Thank you Fr. Z for helping me assimilate all this information.    Our local news did a bit last night that had smoke rolling out of my ears,  reading this today helped!  I hope you find it helpful too!

  1. Thank you for that link, Lisa. I must admit, I kept putting off reading any detailed explanation of the Motu Proprio for fear of being overwhelmed. This is just what I was needed. 🙂

Once again, I am struck by our similarities…

    I feel the same way!

I hope you are feeling well during these last weeks of pregnancy! I know you must be getting so excited about meeting Mark face to face! God bless you!
