Trick or Treat – Catholic Style!

Posted on

The kids look forward to trick or treat each year,  and I look forward to seeing my little evangelist run door to door shouting “Have a happy All Saints Day!”  They dress either as the saint of their choice or they learn about the patron saint of what they dress as.  This year we had St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Nicholas,  a very reluctant two year old Bl. Juan Diego, and three cowboys. (one of our children is off visiting with family and missed out on the festivities)    We learned that St. Keiran is the patron saint of cowboys!    What a fun fun night!!

Bl. Juan Diego, sans his beautful miraculous tilma!  🙂

  2. The children are all adorable–and that St. Agnes is way too cute!

I am also admiring your row of pumpkins with the sign, “Pray for the souls in purgatory.” Great message!
