Called to Serve
My second son served at the altar last night. He was beaming. He was reverent. He was so happy. I am so proud of him. My oldest son served also. They were together, aiding Christ’s priest. I teared up many times. Two of my sons. I realized that by the time Markie is old enough to serve, Nicholas will be twenty two years old. I made him promise to serve then too, so all of my sons can serve together. I will be a blubbering mess when that day comes.
Henry Joe ~ 3 Years Old Today!
You came out of the water with a pruney little face, blowing bubbles and wiggling your fingers. You spent your first year tied to my back, watching all the jubilant chaos around you. You spent your second year adding to the jubilant chaos! I am so excited to see what you bring to us in your third year, and many more to come! I hope you have a wonderful day little boy, lots of love and “bacaonni” to you!
Squash Squish
Sammy(4) and I went grocery shopping. We were browsing the produce isles, filling our cart(s!) with colorful fruits and veggies. I placed two acorn squash just behind Sammy in the cart. He asked, “Mama, what are dose?” to which I replied “Acorn squash for our stew.” When we emptied our cart at the check out, he handed me the two green and gold squash and announced, “Here is your squish Mama!”

Mark is spending his first day snuggled on Mama’s back. He’s such a snuggly little thing!
A Beautiful Baby Boy
Mark Benedict arrived on Sunday, August 26th, at 1:30 am. He weighs 7 lbs. 3 oz. and is 21 inches long. He was born in the water after a very smooth and peaceful labor. We are both doing very well and enjoying getting to know one another. Each baby brings with him a deeper understanding and awe of exactly what we are participating in when we accept God’s Divine Plan.
I will post pictures whenever I make it downstairs to the pc. My husband brought his laptop up for me to use right now. Thank you all for the prayers!
