I am hoping…to buy the land to build our house soon!

Around the house…floors need swept and mopped.

 1.  WERE  YOU NAMED FOR ANYONE?  Kind of.  My father’s cousin’s wife is Helen Kaye.  My middle name is Kaye, after her.  She is a dear.

2.  WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?  Yesterday when I made lunch.   I was listeng to this song.

3.  DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? Print yes, cursive not so much.

4.  WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCHMEAT?  Thin sliced corned beef on a thick rueben!

5.  DO YOU HAVE KIDS?  Infested with ‘em.

12.  DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG?  I have my strengths and weaknesses.

15.  RED OR PINK?  Red.  But not a true red.  More of a deep brick red like this font color. 

16.  WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING YOU LIKE ABOUT YOURSELF?  My indecisiveness.  For example, after I answered #15,  I thought to myself, “Yanno,  I really like pink too.

8 Random Facts

  I was tagged for this meme a while ago by Kimberlee.  I have put it off because I simply could not think of 8 things about myself that would be interesting enough for anyone to read.  Truth be told,  I still can’t!      I visited Bridget at Our Magnum Opus and thought if she can do it,  so can I.  Although,  she has many interesting things to share!  (I especially love fact #2 from her,  amazing!)  Here goes:

1.  The first baby I ever held was when the OB handed me my own firstborn.  Granted,  I was young (19) when I had him,  but still you’d think I would have held a baby before!!

2.  I worked at a local ice cream shop all four years of high school.    My kids are always amazed with the way I can turn out a soft serve cone whenever we may visit a buffet style restaurant!

3.  Like Bridget,  I too veil at Mass and wear skirts exclusively.   ( and most of you already knew that too!)

4.  I can turn my arms all the way around,  360 degrees.

5.  I can’t carry a tune in a bucket,  but I belt out hymns in mass like a suppah-stah! LOL!

6.  I’ve birthed 8 children and I don’t have a single stretch mark.

 7.  I’ve been in labor for a  lifetime total of 99 hours so far.  All but 27 of those have been at home with zero pain meds.  I hope not to add to that number terribly this time around!

8.  I have wore my hair short for over 15 years now.  It grows at a snails pace.

When was the last time I…

1. kissed someone?  Just now,  little Molly in my lap!

2. drank coffee?   I just finished a steamy mug while reading Maryans blog!

3. read a book?  I am currently reading When We Were Very Young by A.A. Milne to the littles.  Those little rhymes cause explosive fits of giggles!

4. cursed? I can’t recall the last time I let one slip,  but I did laugh mighty hard at Henry trying to explain to me how he wanted to ‘sit’ outside! LOL!

5. had a nightmare?  Last week I had a very weird and disturbing dream,  which is par for the course during pregnancy for me.

6. checked your email?  About an hour ago.

7. had a crush?  In high school,  on my husband.  It soon turned to much much more!

8. drove a car?  Funny to be asked,  because I very rarely drive a car.  I generally maneuver a giant 15 passenger van all over town.  But the big guy broke down and I have zipped around running errands in my husbands little Buick the past few days,  feeling sporty in shades with the sunroof open!  (though I feel like I’m sitting on the road!)

9. rode a roller coaster?  We took a family trip to Cedar Point  back in September. Being the ‘cool mom’  (:lol) that I am,  I rode ALL the roller coasters with my older children.   Even this  one!

10. took a nap?  I am pregnant,  therefore I nap!

11. went to the movies?  Oh Gosh,  probably three years ago to view The Passion.  I just don’t do movie theaters.  If I’m going to sit still that long,  I’m going to nap!  (see #10)

12. drank alcohol?   The day before I discovered I really was pregnant again.  Love my white wine!

13. went to a party?  Okay,  first of all I am seriously green with envy that Maryan attended JennGM’s  birthday party!

14. said “I love you”?   To my hubby on his way out the door this morning. 

15. cooked a meal?   Dinner for  my family last night,  Taco Salad. 

16. exercised?  When I cooked dinner last night for my family.  (ever make Taco Salad for 10 while maneuvering around 4 under 4 in a tiny kitchen??,  THAT’S exercise!)
